Enigmas como ofrendas para el pozo
Julieta Malaneschii
We were prepared and around the well. We looked inside. Opening and going to the depths of uncertainty. We gathered around for everyone to dance together: we as offerings, edges as spaces; acceptance of impermanence. Control does not even exist anymore. Just feeling the pleasure of thinking that in this state of fullness we could die.
"The movement of a body that is one and multiple at the same time takes the fundamental space of the piece. Among an abundance of hair and opened mouths, the rostrity appears in a distant yet close plane: distant because of its inconsistency in the level of the image, its perpetual fade in the movement; close because of the permanent allusion, because it does not let us forget the weight of the face when defining identity. (...) This work seems to affirm that the society of transparency, that 'hell of sameness' -as Byung-Chul Han says-, can be resisted by trust in trust, a loving work of recognition of our freedom to continue thinking together who we are.
