Anthropophagic Trilogy - Act II: To Resist
Tamara Cubas

In Resistir (Resist), the second piece in the Trilogía antropofágica (Anthropophagic Trilogy) the performers’ bodies become a living metaphor for resistance: bodies that tread on awkward and almost risky ground, eager to say something, vulnerable to their own exhaustion, to their own transformation and the necessary interaction with others, with those who make up the whole: “Resistance as power and a broadening of the horizons of the possible. Resistance as an agent for transformative strength. Resistance as adaptation and self-organisation”.
